Photobooth Setup
Everything is packed in van
Unpack all equipment
You’re new - give yourself 30 mins to setup photobooth
3 x large equipment pieces:
Photobooth, Folding Table, Backdrop
Assemble the frame according to numbers and orientation
Put on cloth sleeve - white or black facing, see how you feel
2 people make it easier
1 person? Just go slowly
Zip the bottom
Backdrop Done
Place Photobooth on top of tripod
Thread grey printer cable through bottom hole
Photobooth - Take off lens cap
Plug white power cable to powerboard
Plug powerboard to wall socket
Note: if far from socket, use extension cable
Photobooth Done
Set at appropriate location
Cover with black table cloth
Put on printer
Plug printer to IEC power cable
Plug IEC power cable to powerboard
Folding Table Done
Turn everything on
Turn on light power - switch located bottom right, you can adjust dim to appropriate light level
Printer power on - located front bottom right
Should be green light ready to go
If not and light is orange or red, refer to troubleshooting
Ensure DSLR camera is on - should be on already, if not, power switch should be set to middle
Tablet computer power on - located top right
Tablet PIN - 3015
Tablet is touchscreen - you can use keyboard-remote
Open DSLR Booth program
Press ‘Start Photobooth’
All power on
Ready for guests
Place props on table
Place album, pens and gluesticks on table
Test out photos
Let guests know what to expect from photobooth experience
Encourage guests to stick and write in messages for the bride and groom
If guests ask for digital copies, tell them “The bride and groom will receive a digital gallery to share with everyone tomorrow.”
Safety
IMPORTANT - please tape down any cables that may be a trip hazard for guests
Ask DJ Henry if you don’t have any tape
Notes:
There’s a fresh printer and ink roll - plenty for one event
Settings on camera and program are all automatic - adjustments not required
OPTIONAL - if there is not enough light or printouts are dark, you can setup the optional light stand - locating behind the rear seats in the van
Pack up
Finish 10.30pm
IMPORTANT - To safely turn of Photobooth application, press ‘ESC’ on the keyboard-remote
Turn off computer as normal
IMPORTANT - Troubleshooting
For any issues, tell guests there are some technical difficulties, and come back in 15-20mins

Common Troubleshooting
Everything is working, but nothing is printing out
Clear print spool
Printer light is orange or red
Something isn’t working
Isolate which part is not working:

Common Troubleshooting
Everything is working, but nothing is printing out
Clear print spool
- Edit program
- Go to Computer Settings
- Go to Printer Settings
- Go to Printer Troubleshooting - activate
- That should clear out the print spool
Printer light is orange or red
- Means paper jam or ink jam - uncommon occurrence
- Adjust paper roll - printer beeps when in correct position
- Adjust ink roll
- Repeat until green light for printer
- It’ll take 30-60s to calibrate
